Hello there! I'm Dameon Williams, a designer and illustrator from the Triangle Area in North Carolina.

The process of creation has always fascinated me. The initial study and research of a subject. Drafting a sketch down on paper and reworking it until it becomes something that speaks to me truly gives me pleasure. It's even better when the end user understands and appreciates the final product I created.

For years, I worked as a equipment technician in a rehab hospital, building items and crafting additions to wheelchairs for my patients - the end users - who needed function before form. A daily empathy test to be sure, that constantly taught me.

I try to approach my designs and Illustrations the same way in an effort to help make the experience, the goal, the message - in whatever form - on the mark.

Hello there! I'm Dameon S. Williams - designer and illustrator from Raleigh, North Carolina.

It is said that “service” to others is one of the major keys to succeeding with the ventures in your life. I believed that phrase after years of work at a physical rehabilitation hospital as I still very much do as a designer for my non-profit clients.

These days I work freelance, designing websites and branding for clients like “From Your Neighbor”, a successful non-profit organization that collects and provides donated medical equipment to people (free of charge) who can’t afford the (often expensive) devices and items.

When I’m not designing or illustrating, I enjoy doing volunteer and outreach work through the The Life Society, a local non-profit I helped co-start. Or you can find me hiking wooded trails with my wife and two nature-loving boys.

Heck, if you come out early enough, we’ll even pack an extra lunch for you...
